Senior Director of Natural Products Chemistry, Dr. Kumar takes primary responsibility for developing new products from natural sources to address serious medical conditions.

Dr. Kumar has 23 years experience as an organic chemist. His experience includes the successful synthesis of peptides, hormones, Prostaglandins, antiinflammatorv drugs, antivirals, antihistamines and aroma chemicals.

Prior to joining Sabinsa, he was Senior Staff Chemist at Yale University, and served as Organic Biochemist for Elan Chemicals, Newark, NJ. He holds a number of patents and is widely published in professional journals.
